Hi, Sorry about this had a moderation snafu on my end which meant a bunch of messages were stuck in a weird place in the Mailman DB and I had to clear them. Marvin ask yourself how long you have been messing around with all this and how long a reset would take - I can reset my machine in around an hour and it has all my programs etc back intact. Was upgrading visual studio community 2017 15.9.1 when my machine crashed,and then had to then repair or reinstall. Tried repairing the 2015 vc++ isolated shell, and used control panel \ programs and features and then tried to click on change in that and use alt r for repair. As jaws or nvda would not read it at all. Unless I have a corrupted isolated shell. Visual studio 2017 community is working fine . now when I try to then repair sql management studio 2017. And when I launch, will post the error below. Have tried googling. But most of the proglsolutions, either repairing the isolated shell, or remove the registry items. And not really want to play around with the registry. More of a web designer or programmer and then a network systems guy. Will paste the error message below. Have tried to repair, remove and then reinstall. So any one got a fix, so I can then get it to launch. Yes, and I tried stopping the sql process in administrator settings, then starting it again, rebooted. Still get thiserror. Any one had this issue. Will paste below. Don't want to reset the os, don't want to have to load my 50 or 100 more students programming apps. Takes a few weeks.
