Hi there. The subject pretty well says it, but I have been noticing that especially with one of my folders , select files are not readable or copyable, and if I try to copy them, I get access denied errors. I can delete the offending files just fine, but how do I recover this stuff? I want to back it up to an external drive, which I have done with the stuff that is still readable. My other external might have most of the stuff as far as that folder goes, but how can I recover this so it is copyable at least? If I try to delete one, it does delete. I've run the Windows check disk thing and had it repair the file system and all, but I'm scared of why files won't even copy from a Ubuntu live CD without saying permission denied. I haven't really done anything that would make files write only, but I wonder if my hard drive is going or something. I even tried a solution I googled to try to take ownership of these files, but I still can't get them to copy. I hope there is a solution as I don't want to lose everything to this mysterious lack of reading ability. Thanks
