That acomodation was also offered by pearson. I believe both companys use worldwhide standards. So your location should not make any diffirence. I live in the Netherlands and all those exams are coordinated from there hq offices somewhere in the World. That accomodation was offered to me, I turned it down and it wasn't needed. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Christopher McMillan" <christophermcmillan@hotmail.com> To: "Blind sysadmins list" <blind-sysadmins@lists.hodgsonfamily.org> Sent: Friday, April 11, 2008 9:24 AM Subject: Re: [Blind-sysadmins] MCSA exams I am preparing for the VISTA and Windows Server 2008 exams and I was on a training session on MCP 101 and Microsoft reported that 95 % of the exams are Multiple choice and some drag and drop / installation actions. These exams are in specific locations and you are video taped during the exam to make sure that you are not cheating. They are between 40 and 60 questions and you have between 120 and 160 minutes depending on the exam. I will be taking the CCNA and next year the CCNP exams with Curtin University in Perth Australia since they are working with CISCO to make them fully accessible. Let me know how you got on - the CCNA exams weren't brilliant due to the diagrams involved, I suspect the MS exams may be slightly easier due to the nature of the beast. Thanks. The MS certification exams are now given by a company called Prometrix. Is anyone familiar withthem and is it possible to take the exams in accessible format?
