Hi, I have used KillDisk to do this under Windows with a USB enclosure before: http://www.lsoft.net/killdisk.aspx It is not free, I had a Data Studio license as I use the other tools in the suite. I would also say newer versions are slightly more difficult to use with JFW. I don't know any other Windows solutions and would recommend Linux if you want to do this free. Since you're using USB & running Windows (2 things I wouldn't recommend for this) anything that will 0fill the drive will be fine. Cheers, Ben. On 3/24/18, Isaac <bigikemusic@gmail.com> wrote:

Buy a hammer!! Honestly, I just don't know why you would bother doing anything else unless it is an intellectual curiosity which drives you. I could understand that. Phil.

Hello,
I've got several old hard drives that I'm now wanting to get rid of. I need to securely wipe them. They connect to my computer via USB enclosure. I know about boot and nuke, but to the best of my knowledge and i'd love to be wrong, that doesn't work with access technology.
Recommendations appreciated. I'm using windows 10 with NVDA 2017.4 and jaws 18.
Thanks. Dave.
