OK, it turns out that if you are connecting to 'nvdaremote.com' and your admin uses a different key than the one you gave them, NVDARemote says it has connected (guessing because it has connected to the Server) but doesn't inform you that it could not send keys to the remote computer. Strange.
When I send keys to one of the VMs on the Vsphere Server, after making a successful conection, I here nothing.
That VM is automatically connecting to NVDARemote.com, I have not set up my own machine to act as a server yet.
Any ideas?

You will not require a sound card for NVDA remote.

Hi all,
I have been trying to build a Windows7 VM with packer and Vagrant, but it sits for ages and doesn't seem to get past the boot stage.
I want to do this, so that I can provision them with NVDA, then connect with NVDA remote.
Currently the VSphere version my company use for creating VMs for testing, does not allow us to add sound cards (or at least it looks that way).
Some basic testing I did with NVDARemote, indicates to me that you will at least need a sound card in the other machine, but I have not looked in to this in detail.
Anyway, if anyone has experience with using Packer to build Windows VMs, or has an adapted Packer File that may be of more use for my particular case, I would really appreciate some help and advice.
Cheers, Jen.
