[Blind-sysadmins] outlook 2003 and Imap with gmail

Hello, Is anyone using outlook 2003 as an imap client to access their gmail? I'm getting ready to reload some .pst files from backup and want to set it back up. My problem from before and it occurred multiple times though never consistently. I have messages organized in to folders even though they are all in the "all messages" container, is there a way to clear that? Periodically an outlook automatic inbox cleaner would run and messages that were in my inbox were removed. The messages themselves were not as they were still in "All messages" folder, but they're presence in the inbox was gone. Does anyone know how to turn this off? Also, the customer experience improvement program links? Thanks. Dave.
