Hi, Andrew, At a minimum you'll need to go into JAWS Settings Center and enable the "Allow On Screen Keyboards" option. I'm ashamed to say that I hadn't known that software KVMs are a thing. The one I find that's open source is called Barrier and I'll be investigating it for my own use during my upcoming month of hibernation. If you discover things that do or do not work with JAWS and this or another software KVM, I'd be interested in hearing. --Glen -----Original Message----- From: Andrew Hodgson <andrew@hodgson.io> Sent: Saturday, December 5, 2020 6:18 AM To: members@groups.tavip.org.uk; Mailing list for blind system administrators <blind-sysadmins@lists.hodgsonfamily.org> Subject: [Blind-sysadmins] Software KVM Hi, Has anyone tried a software KVM for using the same keyboard and mouse on 2 machines with the host and client machines both using JFW? My company have blocked using personal devices from connecting to some services so I need to use my laptop for all work stuff from now on. I want to use the keyboard and mouse from my desktop on the laptop so I don't have to keep switching keyboards, but worried about JFW issues using it this way. Anyone tried this? Thanks. Andrew. _______________________________________________ Blind-sysadmins mailing list -- blind-sysadmins@lists.hodgsonfamily.org To unsubscribe send an email to blind-sysadmins-leave@lists.hodgsonfamily.org Caution This email originated from outside Vispero.
