The gold standard for automatic installation is Fully Automated Install. http://www.informatik.uni-koeln.de/fai/ There's a debian package. It's a bit much to set up if you're doing just one install though. But I would assume that if you're doing an automatic install, you're doing several. Otherwise, I'd just use the accessible installer for your distro. Almost every distro now has an accessible installer -- although, I guess you still need a hardware synth. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jared Stofflett" <stofflet@gmail.com> To: "Blind sysadmins list" <blind-sysadmins@lists.hodgsonfamily.org> Sent: Sunday, April 12, 2009 9:00 PM Subject: [Blind-sysadmins] automated installs of Linux servers?
I'm not perticular on what distro I use but does anyone know of a way to automate the install of a Linux server complete with ssh access? Thanks
