Agreed. VMWare Workstation and Fusion are the only products I know of where access to the console is possible. I also really like the Easy Install feature in Workstation and I think Fusion too where you point it your VM at an ISO, tell it the edition of the OS you want, give it a product key and it just goes and builds the system for you and installs the drivers. So, when you're done all you have to do is install your screen reader. Random HyperV note, I don't know about JAWS, but Window-Eyes works horribly in the HyperV console. Half of the treeviews will read the index but not the item in the treeview, making selecting a VM or altering settings difficult. Its all doable through Powershell, but I don't know too much about that as we're a VMWare shop where I work. Yup, I do everything by RDP or SSH. Access via the console is pretty much dead. I would think, that since unlike VMware, who offers virtual soundcard emulation, it would not be possible accept via RDP to the VM. Is that what you guys do during tests? I'm asking because I'd like to use Hyper-V on my Dell Laptop for a presentation I'm giving next month at a user group meeting. Thanks. _______________________________________________ Blind-sysadmins mailing list Blind-sysadmins@lists.hodgsonfamily.org http://lists.hodgsonfamily.org/listinfo/blind-sysadmins _______________________________________________ Blind-sysadmins mailing list Blind-sysadmins@lists.hodgsonfamily.org http://lists.hodgsonfamily.org/listinfo/blind-sysadmins
