Hi,
I love Skype for Business. I would be lost without it at work and I don't
think I have ever missed a message coming in. Not sure what the problem is
with those who have reported this as an issue here but I always get a vocal
notification from JAWS whenever a new chat window pops up because someone
has pinged me. I can't remember the exact phrase but JAWS says something
like:
"Message from John Smith, press Windows plus A to accept"
I have even managed to get a little bit out of screen sharing by reading the
shared screen area with the JAWS OCR. Obviously, you need to be sure the
sharing person has a still screen before doing it but this can work a little
bit at least. I have though many times shared my screen to get colleagues to
help me with certain inaccessible things in our company's Intranet that I
have to use such as expenses claims for example. This is brilliant as I can
let them have control to do the bit I am unable to do due to accessibility
issues.
I think you will love Skype for Business. Have no fear.
Cheers,
Phil.

You get plenty of sounds, but no vocal feedback whenever a notification is
in the taskbar. I miss tons and tons of chats that way.
