[Blind-sysadmins] fedora preupgrade-cli

Anybody know how to use the fedora preupgrade-cli script? I ran it to upgrade a system from fedora 9 to 10. After downloading 900Mb of files, it said "Upgrade will begin after you reboot". So I rebooted. But now I cannot ssh into the machine. It seems to me that the preupgrade-cli program shouldn't require you to have console access. Else how do you remotely upgrade a fedora machine?
