I agree 100%. In fact, this is a big part of the reason I helped create www.iavit.org. Each of us has figured out ways to do different things with computers. And while asking about these things on this list helps, if we could get them in a wiki so you could google it, it would be even better. Another thing is that there are a lot of blind sys admins who are not on this list. A wiki would help them a great deal. There is supposed to be a wiki at wiki.iavit.org but I had to shut it down because it kept getting hacked. But there are a couple of people on this list working on that right now. We intend to have space for blogging too. I'm sure you will be able to help once they get the wiki back up and secured. That's the thing about a wiki, it depends entirely on a lot of different people contributing. On 11/18/13 18:09, Sean Murphy wrote:
Hi all.
I have been kicking around an idea for a while now. I think we need a web site that we can share articles, how to's, best practises, knowledge articles, etc for people with vision impairment for admin on any area of IT. Also we could provide a section for programming. Utilising resources that are already out there would be good.
any thoughts people?
