I have had success with Spybot Search and Destroy. I have loaded it on a few computers causing problems. I like to use www.ninite.com for the quiet install. Once it is loaded, I run the update, then select search for problems. One it does the initial removal, there are sometimes problems it cannot remove without a reboot. Allowing Spybot to run after a restart will then get rid of the few remaining problems. It is then easy to uninstall.
