My laptop is running Windows 10 Pro for Workstations, recently upgraded to 1809. There's supposed to be a new option under Virus and Threat Protection to "block suspicious behaviours". However, I can't find it anywhere. This option apparently enables some or all of the Attack Surface Reduction rules. However, I was able to use PowerShell to enable the rules individually, which has the advantage of offering greater administrative control in any case. Also, is there any action performed by screen readers that one should be aware of which would inadvertently fail due to one of these rules? Having looked at the rule descriptions, I can't think of any software that I'm likely to use which would obviously and legitimately perform actions that are blocked.
