So far as I am aware, no. If it's a normal upgrade, the only part that
should run without TalkBack available is the actual process of overwriting
the firmware with the new version. If you need access to that (e.g., because
you suspect it is going to fail), I suppose you could run OCR software on
another device and capture a screen image with the camera.
If it's something more complicated than a normal upgrade where you're
interacting with the boot loader or other low-level functions, then I would
suggest performing it with a helpful friend or colleague available who can
guide you through the difficult parts.
