Hi, Which version of Exchange will they be using? I have done this type of migration before (with external ISP pop3 mailboxes), and it is possible to import the PST files they are using into Exchange using import-mailbox or exmerge. Thanks. Andrew. -----Original Message----- From: blind-sysadmins-bounces@lists.hodgsonfamily.org [mailto:blind-sysadmins-bounces@lists.hodgsonfamily.org] On Behalf Of Darragh.OHeiligh@Oireachtas.ie Sent: 30 November 2009 09:34 To: Blind sysadmins list Subject: [Blind-sysadmins] Porting to exchange. Hello, I'm moving a company across to an exchange mail server shortly. The problem is, until now, they've been using the addresses provided by their ISP. This means, all their sent messages are saved locally in their sent items folder in Outlook. When I port them over to Exchange, they will not have access to this folder. Any ideas how I can get around this? I'm assuming at the moment that I could back up their esent items folder and restore it into the exchange profile when it's created. Will that work? I'm working on assumptions at the moment as I'm only starting to work out the migration plan. Any insites would be appreciated.
