The Testmy.net site works. The IOS app for speedtest.net also works. Now I need to plug a laptop directly into a router to verify that our ISP is truly giving us the bandwidth we're paying for. Thanks all. This helps. -----Original Message----- From: Blind-sysadmins [mailto:blind-sysadmins-bounces@lists.hodgsonfamily.org] On Behalf Of Bill Dengler Sent: Monday, January 25, 2016 12:03 PM To: Blind sysadmins list Subject: Re: [Blind-sysadmins] accessible Speedtest There’s also speedtest-cli. It’s a Python package which can be installed with pip or easy_install. Works great, I use it all the time. iOS/Android apps are also great. Bill

Hi.
You could try:
www.testmy.net
they used to be decent enough. or take a look at upstream/downstream stats provided by your router.
cheers,
Mo.

Hi, Has anyone found an accessible speedtest site to measure your Internet bandwidth and speed. I'm not having luck with speedtest.net. Tried JAWS and Window-eyes. Anyone know of something accessible? Thanks.
