I have used Lync for some time now at work. Think it is the one that came with Office 2013. It is very accessible and easy to use. I use the JAWS screenreader though I imagine any decent screenreader will handle Lync. I have been told that Skype for Business that comes with O365 isn't quite as accessible but I haven't tried that out myself. Short cut for answering new conversation requests is Windows key with A. I often have 5 or 6 conversation windows open at a time and it is easy to move between them and you can see in the task bar the title of each conversation. It is simple to search for work colleagues as it is integrated with Outlook. You can just select a name either from the contacts you have already saved or by finding them in the Outlook address book from within Lync and then just right clicking and choosing the relevant option from the context menu that appears. It really is a pleasure to use but unfortunately our company have just decided to move to something called Circuit from a company called Unify. God knows why, it is probably cheaper. Circuit certainly isn't as accessible so I'm not too pleased about the proposed move away from Lync. Which screenreader is recommended for use with skype for business? is it possible to continue a conversation that has already started? I find that I have to manually find the person I want to chat to and choose send IM. Choosing continue conversation, does not open the conversation window. Is there a keyboard shortcut to answer calls? Also, is it possible to have conversation windows open up for each chat? Any help would be much appreciated.
