Hello, I have been meaning to respond to this post and have not got around to it until now. Depending on the computer braille code you are using will determine how Hex is shown. In USA computer braille code, numbers use the lower 4 dots (dots 2, dots 3, dots 5 and dots 6). Alpha characters use the normal chars. Thus f6e5d4c3b2a10 on a braille display works well in deed. Not sure of other codes. How is hex indicated in braille? Constantly having to escape strings of digits and letters with the number and letter signs sounds super bulky. I know 8 dot braille uses dropped numbers, but that would make letters and digits harder to discern. _______________________________________________ Blind-sysadmins mailing list Blind-sysadmins@lists.hodgsonfamily.org https://lists.hodgsonfamily.org/listinfo/blind-sysadmins
