Hi vic, Wouldn't t not really matter though as long as her account had access to the scanner? -----Original Message----- From: Blind-sysadmins [mailto:blind-sysadmins-bounces@lists.hodgsonfamily.org] On Behalf Of vic.pereira@ssc-spc.gc.ca Sent: Tuesday, January 27, 2015 1:45 PM To: blind-sysadmins@lists.hodgsonfamily.org Subject: Re: [Blind-sysadmins] network scanners This might be easier to do on a home network than it is on a corporate one. At home I have an Epson Work Force all-in-one that is on my home network. There is no problem with accessing it from any computer on the network. The software doesn't seem to care, because Windows 7 and 8 appear to be managing those connections. They bought her a copy of openbook and want her to use a network scanner. However I see openbook doesn't let you use a network scanner. Does anyone no of any work arounds or any other programs that will let you do this. Thanks Mike _______________________________________________ Blind-sysadmins mailing list Blind-sysadmins@lists.hodgsonfamily.org https://lists.hodgsonfamily.org/listinfo/blind-sysadmins _______________________________________________ Blind-sysadmins mailing list Blind-sysadmins@lists.hodgsonfamily.org https://lists.hodgsonfamily.org/listinfo/blind-sysadmins
