Hi, Is the problem that users need to add their OneDrive for Business accounts in the OneDrive app? If they do that it will start to sync the personal OneDrive contents and add the relevant links to the right places in Windows. This will solve the Teams integration issues as Teams uses the personal OneDrive for Business. Think of the personal OneDrive for Teams as a user home folder within Office 365. There is the potential to create team sites which is sort of akin to the old shared folder dumping grounds but it sounds like you are doing ok with the personal folders option in which case the problem is you need to set up the OneDrive client rather than messing around with mapped drives. Folders are being created in the OneDrive for business location. OneDrive for business seems to show up in "this PC" at times, but not consistently. Given the need for more remote access, people are finding that document collaboration within one drive has much more to offer than connecting a VPN back to our shared folders on our windows file server. Presently, all of our file storage is on shared folders on our file server which I have mapped to drive letters. I just want to make it very easy for all users to locate their personal one drive as well as the shared locations that are being created as they join teams. We have not fully implemented this yet. I'm just trying to understand the best way to roll this out as people are now starting to join teens as they work collaboratively outside of the office. Thanks. ### -----Original Message----- From: Andrew Hodgson <andrew@hodgson.io> Sent: Monday, April 27, 2020 3:29 AM To: Mailing list for blind system administrators <blind-sysadmins@lists.hodgsonfamily.org> Subject: [Blind-sysadmins] Re: Map drive to 1 drive Hi, Can you be more specific about what you are trying to do? Do you have a Teams site that you are using as a repository and want to map that? Some of the ways of doing that are very inefficient using WebDav and I wouldn't recommend them long-term. I need to do this for all users. After googling it, I found a utility called the onedrivemapper which contains a power shell script. I'm not good with power shell so I'm not sure if this is the appropriate way to accomplish this. Has anyone else had to map drives to OneDrive for your employees? Thanks. ### _______________________________________________ Blind-sysadmins mailing list -- blind-sysadmins@lists.hodgsonfamily.org To unsubscribe send an email to blind-sysadmins-leave@lists.hodgsonfamily.org _______________________________________________ Blind-sysadmins mailing list -- blind-sysadmins@lists.hodgsonfamily.org To unsubscribe send an email to blind-sysadmins-leave@lists.hodgsonfamily.org Thanks. _______________________________________________ Blind-sysadmins mailing list -- blind-sysadmins@lists.hodgsonfamily.org To unsubscribe send an email to blind-sysadmins-leave@lists.hodgsonfamily.org
