Hello, I have just joined this list, so apologies if this subject has recently been discussed. Does anyone have any experience of using Microsoft System Center Service Manager 2012? We are just starting to use this at work as our new helpdesk system and I am not finding it easy to use with Jaws 17 and IE 11. The main problem I am having is re-assigning calls and changing the status, both tasks requiring you to open a listbox which more often than not refuses to open. I've also struggled when trying to filter calls in the All Open Service Requests view as the filter menu doesn't seem to open for me. Also the interface is unbelievably busy which makes it hard to find the important information on the screen among all the irrelevant bits and pieces. If anyone has mastered this software, please could you pass on some clues as to how you managed it. I only have IE installed at present but I have been told I could install either Firefox or Chrome if they would work any better. I only have Jaws, but if NVDA works like a dream with it, I'd be willing to try that out too. Hoping someone can offer some advice. Caroline. Christopher, Thank you for the message. I will e-mail the address you suggested to see if they have any suggestions. By using Firefox and implementing flexible web in Jaws, the screen is looking a bit more manageable, but I still can't filter calls. I have had a recommendation from another list to explore the touch cursor in Jaws to see if this will help so I will try that out. As far as the busy pages, you could experiment with the JAWS Flexible Web feature to remove the elements containing information that you don't need from the page's presentation. Chris On Fri, Oct 14, 2016 at 12:33:37PM +0000, Caroline Ford wrote:

Chris, Thank you for the suggestion. I haven't used this feature much before but have just looked into it and have found that it will certainly help.
