Hello Im new to this but I'm exploring g and playing around with some virtual machines to advance my skills. but what I need help with is there a way to use a virtual machine installed on a VPS, I need help with how would I install OS,which vps host should I use with vinux or one that is accessible, which screen reader is best for this and what remote access client I should use . If you could help me with this I would appreciate it.
For your VPS, you’ll either want to learn the CLI and use it (most of us do that, it isn’t that hard), or use Windows Server with the GUI. You could learn on Ubuntu 14.04 LTS, Cent OS, whatever. As far as providers go, I would recommend Vultr. They’re cheap and have an accessible control panel. For accessibility tutorials, podcasts, and a link to get free credit when you sign up, go to http://n6.io/vultr <http://n6.io/vultr> The Vultr control panel automatically installs your OS for you, so no sighted help is required. About Vinux, the short answer is don’t. Just don’t. Very old, hacked-together versions of the OS that break when you update really aren’t a good idea, especially for a new user learning how to administer a system for the first time. Bill

Hi, The site is still there but it hasn't been updated in a long time so I wouldn't even look at it. Besides, the Vinux is catering to desktop and GUI operation, whereas what we are talking about with a VPS is a server/headless setup, so it really isn't applicable anyway.
