Support tools. / incident tracking.
Hello, I quite urgently need your suggestions for the most accessible and most affordable support tracking tool that you have used and / or set up. Autotask has become completely inaccessible. I really cant manage people with this tool because I have lost all access to the dash boards. I can look at my work. But I cant see what anyone else is doing.
What about RT from Best Practical? Sent from my iPhone

Thanks Chris, I was looking at that before. I think I even installed it! Just spinning up the VM that I had it on to see how far I got. If I remember correctly, it takes a lot of time to get this fully configured and the installation fee is almost $9000! Have you ever configured it? Yes +1 on RT. I’ve both installed it and used it as a team member and it’s fully accessible. Also works well under Safari for the Mac users. On Jan 8, 2015, at 6:47 AM, Chris Nestrud <ccn@ChrisNestrud.com> wrote:

Scott, Any idea why the custom fields aren't displaying when creating a new ticket and why I don't see any dashboards both in the dashboard page and when configureing the dashboards in the global options? -----Original Message----- From: Blind-sysadmins [mailto:blind-sysadmins-bounces@lists.hodgsonfamily.org] On Behalf Of Scott Granados Sent: 08 January 2015 14:34 To: Blind sysadmins list Subject: Re: [Blind-sysadmins] Support tools. / incident tracking. Hi, We use SiteHelpdesk from www.sitehelpdesk.com at work - very basic but works ok with JFW after a little knowledge. Its not free but quite cheap. RT is good but is really hard to get working well, and does have a learning curve to set it up. There is also OTRS which is slightly easier but I haven't used it in years. Andrew. -----Original Message----- From: Blind-sysadmins [mailto:blind-sysadmins-bounces@lists.hodgsonfamily.org] On Behalf Of Darragh Ó Héiligh Sent: 08 January 2015 10:17 To: blind-sysadmins@lists.hodgsonfamily.org Subject: [Blind-sysadmins] Support tools. / incident tracking. Thanks. I found RT very basic in it's default form origionally but I was using 4.0. I'm now installing 4.2.7 or something like that so when / if that upgrade goes ok I'll make a more informed decision. While running the configure script I also decided to include support for graphs etc so maybe that will make it more visually appealing for people. -----Original Message----- From: Blind-sysadmins [mailto:blind-sysadmins-bounces@lists.hodgsonfamily.org] On Behalf Of Andrew Hodgson Sent: 08 January 2015 13:40 To: Blind sysadmins list Subject: Re: [Blind-sysadmins] Support tools. / incident tracking.
