So we have decided to proceed with formation of this organization. The purpose of the organization is threefold: 1. To serve as a source for information on adaptive techniques for visually impaired computer professionals. 2. To serve as a source for social networking for visually impaired computer professionals. 3. To serve as an advocate for visually impaired professionals. The first thing we need to do is form a board of directors. Anyone interested in serving on the board should email me at jheim@math.wisc.edu as soon as possible. You need not be an American to be on the board of directors. In fact, international interest is welcome. I have already contacted a lawyer about getting tax exempt status in the United States. We need to have a board of directors to get tax exempt status. I don't think so. I'm no longer in charge though. I just got tired of being criticized for everything I did. No seriously hard feelings though. Just a little.
