Hell all, Just in case you all didn't know, a new Remote Incident Manager is in currently in public beta right now and they are looking for feedback. Having used the first RIM iteration as well as tandem and NVD remote, this so far is awesome. Latency is great, could use Jaws/NVDA and it doesn't matter what is on the other end. Although NVDA is the only one thus far where you can remote control a machine for a sighted user that does not have any screen readers installed. Obviously Narrator but then the target computer would hear that. With NVDA, they would not. They also just introduced unattended sessions. Thought this group would be interested. https://getrim.app/ Herman

Hi. It seems like the product is being completely re-written so anyone can try out the beta now. No idea how much it will cost going forward. Presumably this has something to do with the demise of System Access and associated products. I gave it a quick spin today and was very impressed. I never quite got the use of NVDA Remote. There is a discussion group on it may be worth subscribing if you want to find out more.
