how to use the win 10 talking pe inside vmware player
Hi. Trying to use the blind windows 10 talking pe and need to install this in vm ware player. But when I create the vm, it is an exe file then downloaded any burn and then created and iso, when I try to then play the virtual machine, setup or click setup, then hear no need to install windows 10 inside vmware player as need to do this for an assignment for my networking course from http://www.upskilled.edu.au. Any one able to help. Do have uefi but not boot secure or secure boot. Maybe I do. Think I may but not sure. Can any one help me out. Why am I not getting any speech sound card is set to auto detect. Any one tried doing this in vmware or would oracle virtual box fix this. Thanks. Ps: or do I need to then use the blind help windows 10 and then try to install, and also need to capture screen shots of each screen of the process. Did have easy install, but don't want that. If I try to use the stand windows 10 2004 I don't hear any controls. How to proceed with this. Found this on carlos page. Any one able to help. Thanks.speech.
Hi, Can you get sighted assistance or read the screen using OCR to identify whether you have issues booting into the ISO image? The steps I usually follow are: 1. Use Media Creation tool and create ISO image. 2. Save image to somewhere you can get to via the Vmware software. 3. Start up the new machine ensuring the ISO file is inserted in the virtual CD rom. 4. When the machine is started you should see a screen with language and keyboard options. If in that window press ctrl+win+enter Narrator should start, but ensure you can get to this screen. If you get to the screen and pressing this gives you no sound it's a problem with the VM sound, it sounds more likely to me though you can't boot into the installation prgraom on the ISO. Andrew, one other recomendation if they are getting to the language selection screen, and ctrl+windows+enter isn't generating any speech, then its possible there's an issue with the sound drivers. Most of the time VMWare's drivers load in Windows PE but I've seen a time or two on some Windows builds where that doesn't happen for who knows what reason. A good fix is to plug in a USB sound device, such as a USB headset, and have VMWare pass that through to the VM. USB audio should definitely work.
