Enterprise Password Management
Hello everyone, My school is starting to look into an enterprise password management solution. Since I will have to support and also use it, wanted to know if anyone had any experiences with any of them with screen readers. Both good and bad. Some of the venders we're looking at: Thycotic, Cyberark, Entrify, One Identity. Most look like they are web interfaces which of course can range widely when it comes to accessibility. Hi: For what its worth, where I used to work they had an older version of Cyberark. It was not accessible at all, many links did not activate properly, other controls were mislabeled, etc. I don't know if newer versions are any better, but when I spoke with the company back about seven years ago accessibility was not a priority at that time for them. So if you go with that solution I'd definitely verify the UI first. Hi, I used ManageEngine PasswordManager Pro at my last place and the current version was horrible to use. I use Cyberark now and that is actually better, so we must have a newer version. The interface is still clunky to use however. My company uses Okta ... single sign-on; horribly slow, but it works. -----Original Message----- From: Blind-sysadmins [mailto:blind-sysadmins-bounces@lists.hodgsonfamily.org] On Behalf Of Fermin, German Sent: Wednesday, July 12, 2017 10:54 PM To: 'Blind sysadmins list (blind-sysadmins@lists.hodgsonfamily.org)' <blind-sysadmins@lists.hodgsonfamily.org> Subject: [Blind-sysadmins] Enterprise Password Management Hello everyone, My school is starting to look into an enterprise password management solution. The one we kind of like thus far is Thycotic secret server. I've proposed some accessibility questions to them and so far all I've heard were crickets. To early though. I've reached out to Cyberark with accessibility questions from the get-go. So this won't be a surprise.
