Hello everybody, I need to get a Security Plus certification as soon as I can because the lack of it is keeping me from getting a few security administrator positions that I have applied for. I have tried the Test King demo and that just did not work with jaws. Does anyone have something they could recommend? Its been a while since I’ve done this, but long long ago, Testking had some downloadable PDFs in adition to their software. Is that no longer the case? Ryan, Test King has changed its policy. You can get the PDF package but only if you buy the bundle and thePDF package is an extra $59. It can only be purchased if you buy the bundle. Well that sucks. It seems silly to buy the whole package and pay extra for the $59 PDFs. I will say they are good PDFs though at least they were. So you might try googling and seeing what’s out there as far as downloadables. Also I don’t know what resources you’re using to prepare in terms of books etc. but they may have some stuff too. Many exam prep books have practice exams in the back. When I was preparing I used a resource called Transcender, don’t know if they’re still around and still accessible but back then they were. I didn’t like the practice tests as much as Testking though. Ryan, I will check out the information. Transcender will be my last option. A number of years ago, I spoke to one of the vice presidents regarding accessibility for Transcender tests. This person told me that blind people are less than 5% of their sales, so he did not care. This person was very nasty to me and I also believe he made good to block the president of the company from receiving any of my phone calls or correspondence. Hi, When I went down this path I used VSE files with a VSE player. It read fine using Jaws at the time. It is slightly questionable as some of them are using exam dumps, but it was the best way for me at the time. What makes me think that correspondence was blocked was the level of nastiness that this person displayed. I have never run into such a level of behavior since. Back then I also sent a registered letter to the president to no result. When I worked with Goodwill/Easter Seals to get the Mopix system into National Amusement theaters, I had contact with management all the way up to Shari Redstone who used the be the owner/president. I have also been able to correspond with the president of Cinemark when one of their managers refused to talk to me but chose to talk to my 11 year old daughter instead and apologized to her instead of me. Transcender has probably changed and that guy is probably long gone but I will get to them when I get to them.
