true image accessibility and usability
Hello, How accessible is true image with screen readers? And how usable is it, both for standard backups, as in backing up a machine, and doing bear metal restores independently of assistance. Thanks. Dave. David Mehler (MCP,Network+,A+) dave.mehler@gmail.com
If you are using the Acronis TrueImage Management Console to control agents that are installed on other machines, it is somewhat accessible. I have to use Window-Eyes mouse navigation to click on most screen elements but I can get around. Doing more complex operations like scheduling backups is not speech friendly at all. As far as BMR is concerned, without assistance, not very accessible at all. You can boot a machine with a agent CD, connect to that agent over the network with the console. This works as well as connecting to a ormal agent but the problem is determining what the IP of the machine is. I use the product on a daily basis and can get by for the ost part without sighted assistance. Matt On Wed, February 4, 2009 07:45, Dave wrote:

Symantec BackupExec is an enterprise backup solution; check out Symantec's site or Google for more information. On Wed, February 4, 2009 10:57, Ken Sawicki wrote:
