anyone familiar with installing a Linux ISO in to fusion?
So I'm running VM FUsion on the Mac. Is there any way of doing a talking install of a linux distribution or specific image? I have a PBX system that's called Elastix that I'm wanting to try out and don't necessarily want to spin up hardware and have someone install it. Thanks Scott
The short answer is no. Unless you can convince your iso to do install automatically as pbxinaflash can or you can convince it to provide a serial console and find a Mac equivalent of com0com you're out of luck without ocring the screen. Distributions often support kickstart or other automated install methods but I can not speak to these existing on elastics. Regards, Kerry. On 4/08/2012 12:43 AM, Scott Granados wrote:

Ah, I was rather hoping I could boot and then browse to a dhcp assigned address or ssh in from there. I can see why that won't work though. On Aug 4, 2012, at 9:06 AM, Kerry Hoath <kerry@ciscovision.org> wrote:
