Windows Server 2003 Admin Tools on Windows 7?
Hi folks, Can these be installed on Win7? I downloaded the msi, but am told it has known issues when I run it. I click to get solutions but no Microsoft site ever loads. Cheers, Barry. NO. You need to use RSAT. the Remote Server Administration tools.
These are available freely and when installed you can add the
administrative tools using programs and features.
Be careful if using the group policy editor under Windows 7 to manage a
Windows 2003 domain. I have had problems.

Hi Darragh,
Nice one. I'm now downloading the RSAT from
http://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/download/details.aspx?id=7887
I'll tred with care.
Barry.
