Serial port header block on mobo
I'm about to have a new PC built. So far, I have always been able to find a motherboard with a serial port header block. Does anybody know what incantation I can use while searching for a mobo with the serial header block? Searching for mobos with com1 has not worked. Yes, I have an external hardware speech synthesizer. I've been poking around the internet for days and I may have finally figured it out. I think Asus makes a mobo to fit my specifications. It looks like the Intel I5 13400F is a nice chip for the price. I think for that processor, you need a mobo with an LGA1700 socket. There are lots of chipsets but according to some reviews, the H770 chipset is nice.
