Hello: They could tell me if Windows Server 2012 and Windows Server 2012 R2 is accessible with Jaws or nvda and if they know some accessible way for its installation. It is accessible, sure. I'm working with Microsoft to constantly improve things in the accessibility front, for when I first tested it, they did create some problems. To install it accessibly, use a product called Winstaller which allows you to put NVDA into the installation. As long as you have an audio device and the boot driver for it if required, you'll be good. -----Original Message----- From: Blind-sysadmins [mailto:blind-sysadmins-bounces@lists.hodgsonfamily.org] On Behalf Of Ernesto Fdez Sent: Saturday, November 02, 2013 2:58 PM To: 'Blind sysadmins list' Subject: [Blind-sysadmins] Windows Server 2012. Hi Katherine: What issues are you currently working with Microsoft on? I have found Server 2012 mostly accessible, but some of the newer administrative interfaces (such as the Active Directory Administrative Center) are really difficult to use. I can work around that since ADUC is still there and works as well as ever. I've been working to set up an SCCM 2012R2 POC environment on the newer Windows 2012R2 OS over the past week, and I haven't seen any improvement, but things haven't gotten worse either. I've mentioned a few issues to my company's TAM, and we have regular accessibility meetings to talk through issues I find and such.
