Hi all, I'm cramming for a Linux Cert this coming Monday and fancied a bit of relief from test questions, and The Urban Penguin playlist on Youtube. I grabbed a promo code & a monthly subscription for www.itpro.tv<http://www.itpro.tv> I can't get the videos to play though! I'm using NVDA under Windows and have tried Chrome, Firefox, IE. There's a bunch of unlabelled sliders but I think these are for rating the individual videos. I can skip back and forth from one video to another but they don't' auto-play. I believe the controls are in HTML5 as there's no embedded flash object being announced by NVDA. I've tried the IOS app, but when I go to play a video I'm asked to Link my Pro account. Tapping on Link Account does nothing, tapping/holding for the pass through gesture does nothing. Locating the button on the screen, turning VO off and tapping the area does nothing. Tapping on Continue Browsing in this screen on IOS however does work and returns me back to the topic list. IT Pro support have told me there is issues with the IOS side at the moment, which may be related. Maybe tapping Link doesn't' do anything and that's not an A11Y issue. However, I really want to get the videos to play some way or another. There's no option to Download the videos through a web browser only through the app, which of course brings up the Link issue. I used their psite over a year ago, and just downloaded mp3 auido versions of the lessons. It was challenging then. But it was workable. I've also somehow managed to link my account with the IOS app, so I can at least stream the content now. That's a good question. The site had changed on me at least twice while I had an account there. But I remember after I logged inn, I had to find the link for my chosen course, then I'd look for a Link for the module within that course, then there was an mp three download which caused Internet explorer to ask me if I wanted to open or save the file. I would be surprised if the web site were laid out the same as it was when I had my account over year ago. I was in regular communication with my account representative, who did provide some guidance as to what I needed to click on in order to find the mp3 download . An annual subscription is required to download content. I have used the service casually, but I only hav a monthly subscription, and fount the accessibility to be questionable at best. One option I can think of is to use NVDA's mouse tracking features. Press CTRL+NVDA+M to open NVDA's mouse settings dialog, and make sure that both "Enable mouse tracking," and "Play audio coordinates when mouse moves" are checked, then, press the OK button, and save your NVDA configuration. From there, open your browser to the site, and move the mouse pointer around, while listening to NVDA. You may be able to locate the play buttons that way, but there's no guarantees. I'm cramming for a Linux Cert this coming Monday and fancied a bit of relief from test questions, and The Urban Penguin playlist on Youtube. I grabbed a promo code & a monthly subscription for www.itpro.tv<http://www.itpro.tv> I can't get the videos to play though! I'm using NVDA under Windows and have tried Chrome, Firefox, IE. There's a bunch of unlabelled sliders but I think these are for rating the individual videos. I can skip back and forth from one video to another but they don't' auto-play. I believe the controls are in HTML5 as there's no embedded flash object being announced by NVDA. I've tried the IOS app, but when I go to play a video I'm asked to Link my Pro account. Tapping on Link Account does nothing, tapping/holding for the pass through gesture does nothing. Locating the button on the screen, turning VO off and tapping the area does nothing. Tapping on Continue Browsing in this screen on IOS however does work and returns me back to the topic list. IT Pro support have told me there is issues with the IOS side at the moment, which may be related. Maybe tapping Link doesn't' do anything and that's not an A11Y issue. However, I really want to get the videos to play some way or another. There's no option to Download the videos through a web browser only through the app, which of course brings up the Link issue.
Has anyone gotten this service to work at all?

That's a good question. The site had changed on me at least twice while I had an account there. But I remember after I logged inn, I had to find the link for my chosen course, then I'd look for a Link for the module within that course, then there was an mp three download which caused Internet explorer to ask me if I wanted to open or save the file. I would be surprised if the web site were laid out the same as it was when I had my account over year ago. I was in regular communication with my account representative, who did provide some guidance as to what I needed to click on in order to find the mp3 download .
