What did they have you do in the lab portion for your CCNA and how doable was it without sight? Frank, Discovery 1 is mostly a windows networking course. W/a wireless router in hand, I could basically do all the stuff. Discovery 2 places more emphasis on Cisco products. They now have a java based gui out which is inaccessible, so the labs using that u can't do, but everything that can be done using the java u i can also be done w/the cli, & using the remote bundle, that's not hard. Frank, I did the IE lab not the NA. They gave me a network design on day 1 which another engineer helped explain well which I had to build and on day 2 they introduced a problem and made me find the solution. (which in my case there was no solution how about that for a biatch of a situation heh) I hear the test has changed though and been combined in to one day with most things prebuilt. Remember when I did this it was last century.:) ----- Original Message ----- From: "Frank Ventura" <Frank.Ventura@littlebreezes.com> To: "Blind sysadmins list" <blind-sysadmins@lists.hodgsonfamily.org> Sent: Wednesday, January 13, 2010 12:19 AM Subject: Re: [Blind-sysadmins] [BW] cisco networking academyfor thevisionimpaired offering classes for 2010 What did they have you do in the lab portion for your CCNA and how doable was it without sight?
