Managing many Google accounts in one account
Hi All, We have, as I guess many offices/organisations have, many Google accounts for our users for phones. At the moment these Google accounts are normal personal accounts. We have the passwords for those accounts and our users know about that. We want to manage those accounts in one account if possible. So we can delete them without the users password or any other difficulties. Especially when users are gone and the phone number also has been disabled. Today we had the issue that the phone number was already deleted and we had pretty difficulties to delete the old account. We had to reactivate the corporate number to get the account deleted. Any ideas how to solve that problem? Greetings and thanks, Simon
Hi, Why did you need the phone number to delete the account, is having access via email not enough? Also not sure if you can do something with the recovery codes or backup phone numbers? My new company created me a Google account and they asked me not to generate new OTP backup codes presumably for a similar reason. Hi, I wasn't able to confirm the deletion with the recovery e-mail address. This option wasn't available unfortunately. The only option available was to confirm the deletion with the registered mobile phone number. I was able to add another number though but this number wasn't accepted to delete the account. When we create Google accounts i was shown to create personal accounts instead of business ones. Maybe thats the problem i am now running into.
