Hello, Is anyone using Hyper-V and if so how easy was it to get going from an accessibility perspective? I'm apparently needing a new virtualization platform as apparently vmware went up in price and the player variant is no longer freely available. Suggestions welcome. Thanks. I have Hyper-V 2019 servers and it has been a long time since I set them up. However, I had to get sights help as best as I recall.
Once they were installed, I could use Remote PowerShell for most configuration task, but a few times I need to use psExec.
If I had another piece of hardware lying around, I'd love to give Proxmox a test drive.

VMWare Workstation is available for personal use: https://knowledge.broadcom.com/external/article/368667/download-and-license-... If that doesn't work for you, HyperV control panel is accessible. I believe you will need to use an RDP client to connect and get audio. Chris On Fri, Aug 16, 2024 at 01:55:42PM -0400, David Mehler via Blind-sysadmins wrote:
