hello guys i'm searching for hiron boot or some thing can let me format hards and rep computers but as you know i need it with screen reader or something like that -- ibrahem mahsoub blind computerest

Hi, Two issues with these are there is no screen reader and the software package is somewhat dubious in that it contains commercial products. Better going with something like Winstaller instead that will give you a WinPE environment with NVDA... Hi, John kindly uploaded it at http://www.iavit.org/~wikiadmin/winpe/ NB: the ISO was not created correctly so you will need to modify it using something like IMGBurn to make it bootable. Cheers, Ben. On 12/30/14, Isaac <bigikemusic@gmail.com> wrote:

John, Essentially, the ISO file that was created isn't bootable so a few things need to be done to make it work. 1. Extract the contents of the ISO using something like 7ZIP, Winrar, Winzip ETC. 2. Follow this http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?/topic/11194-how-to-create-a-windows-vist... guide. Where there are different options depending on the version of Windows that you are dealing with choose the Windows 8 option. The end product should be a bootable iso or a bootable DVD. I know these aren't the best instructions ever but for the sort of people who will be reading them they should be enough to get you bootstrapped. Cheers, Ben. Oh my... Why reinvent the weal? All packages already hosted on Brians website. http://blog.bryansmart.com/talking-windows-7-pre-installation-environment/ V2 works awesome, just tested. No need to reassemble the ISO file. Burned with Nero 2015, rebooted my PC, and there it is, booted to Win PE with NVDA and some tools on the desktop. Amazing work done by Brian. -----Original Message----- From: Blind-sysadmins [mailto:blind-sysadmins-bounces@lists.hodgsonfamily.org] On Behalf Of John G Heim Sent: Tuesday, December 30, 2014 8:32 AM To: Blind sysadmins list Subject: Re: [Blind-sysadmins] hiron boot We can host it on iavit.org. sorry about the iso not beeing made correctly, but it still works if you extract it and put it on a bootible thumb drive or use the zip version, and some one asked about why would we want to re-invent the wheel, because these disks are 64bit ----- Original Message ----- From: "Anatoliy Shudrya" <anatoliyshudrya@hotmail.com> To: "'Blind sysadmins list'" <blind-sysadmins@lists.hodgsonfamily.org> Sent: Tuesday, December 30, 2014 11:29 AM Subject: Re: [Blind-sysadmins] hiron boot

the reason I made the 64 that I asked and was given a link to because I had lost it is because it is a 64 bit version and bryan's was not, that is not his fault though, it is just that at the time he could not get it to build on his machine, and for some reason it built on mine fine, so that is why there are two versions ----- Original Message ----- From: "Ben Mustill-Rose" <ben@benmr.com> To: "Blind sysadmins list" <blind-sysadmins@lists.hodgsonfamily.org> Sent: Tuesday, December 30, 2014 2:07 PM Subject: Re: [Blind-sysadmins] hiron boot

Hi, If you want to nuke the disk it will be good enough. Just use the clean command it and it will delete all the partitions on the disk ready for the Windows setup to re-create a Windows partition set. Have you tried installing Windows 8.1 X64 using Bryans disk? This is why there are multiple versions that people use. FYI, I find Bryans the most reliable but on some newer systems it just doesn't boot. Cheers, Ben. On 12/30/14, John G Heim <jheim@math.wisc.edu> wrote:

If you *really* have to install XP the best way is to make an unattended install & boot directly from the XP disk instead of starting it from a PE environment. Winnt.sif isn't used if XP is started from a talking PE disk for example, so what will happen is you'll have speech for the first part of the install, the machine will reboot then you'll be stuck on a screen requiring user input but you won't have any speech so will struggle to progress. NB: I will shortly upload a podcast demonstrating my solution for reading pre Windows screens such as this. Don't expect anything amazing but for a minimal investment you can make something that will "work" in a pinch. Cheers, Ben. On 12/30/14, mattias <mj@mjw.se> wrote:
