Hi all, Subject line says it all. Does anyone know of an accessible network IP scanner for a LAN? I'm looking for IP conflicts. I've tried AngryIP and Advanced IP Scanner, and they don't appear to be accessible. Thanks for any help. I'd go with command-line nmap, https://nmap.org. It can output to file formats that might be easier to read in something like Excel. Chris On Thu, Aug 12, 2021 at 06:16:22PM +0100, Steve Nutt wrote:

Angry IP scanner works for me.
It is a java application so the correct architect of the java runtime environment must be installed. Not sure if you need it for this app but I also have the java access bridge enabled.
Has hotkeys for moving to next / previous host etc.
Hope this helps.
Cheers.

Not quite what you wanted, but if you need packet capture as part of the diagnostic process, then tshark (the terminal version of Wireshark) is useful. It has filtering options which allow you to display only the desired protocols.
