Hello, Is anyone using bluetooth devices under xp? I would ask windows in general, but I don't know if vista/7 are doing this. I'm trying to get a bluetooth headset to work with my pc. I've got it paired, and the pc sees it. Whenever I activate the headset it tries to connect to the hsp service, but can't do it, I need to authorize it on the pc. My problem is that dialog box flashes in the systray and lasts about 5 seconds, not long enough for me to get to it, when I can the connection atempt times out. If anyone has a fix for this i'd like to hear it. Thanks. Dave.
I think this is going to depend on what drivers you are using, but have you tried paring it from the computer? E.g. going into my bluetooth places, searching for nearby devices, locating the headset and then connecting to it? I have experienced the situation that you are in; sometimes, it's hard to even find where the dialog is, let alone click on it before the connection times out. It's a shame really; the broadcom drivers are really well written except for this one issue. On 10/02/2011, David Mehler <dave.mehler@gmail.com> wrote:

Hi, The headset in question is a motorola pure h15. I've tried connecting from the pc to the headset, going the other way gets me nowhere. From pc to headset I get the dialog but can't get to it. Thanks. Dave. On 2/9/11, Ben Mustill-Rose <bmustillrose@gmail.com> wrote:
