Hi, Any recommendations for accessible MDM? I have tried Meraki, but the features are limited. I have also tried G Suite for Education MDM solution and it's not very accessible. If you manage mobile devices with a screen reader, what solution do you use? Kind Regards, Anatoliy
I use Meraki and most things I can accomplish using JAWS and Firefox. I have been able to license and diploy apps to mobile devices, send IOS updates out to phones, clear pass codes and issue remote wipe commands. The settings policies haven't always applied as I wanted them to. I'm sure there's more advanced tasks that I haven't had to deal with yet. So far I'm happy with it as I can do most things I need to. I'm curious what limitations you found. ### -----Original Message----- From: Blind-sysadmins [mailto:blind-sysadmins-bounces@lists.hodgsonfamily.org] On Behalf Of Anatoliy Shudrya Sent: Tuesday, January 23, 2018 12:01 PM To: Blind sysadmins list <blind-sysadmins@lists.hodgsonfamily.org> Subject: [Blind-sysadmins] Accessible MDM? When I tested Meraki Systems Manager, apparently, I was in the basic free tear and many options were not available. Native IOS Apps management and some other features. I have signed up for 30-day trial and lots of things opened. Thanks for pointing this out. I have also signed up with Mobile Device Manager Plus from Manage Engine, I'll see how far I can get with this system. Especially this step: Step 3: Distribute and manage apps * Push enterprise or third-party applications to users. * Purchase productivity apps in bulk for iOS and Android. * Manage app licenses. -----Original Message----- From: Blind-sysadmins [mailto:blind-sysadmins-bounces@lists.hodgsonfamily.org] On Behalf Of Troy Hergert Sent: Thursday, January 25, 2018 8:14 AM To: Blind sysadmins list <blind-sysadmins@lists.hodgsonfamily.org> Subject: Re: [Blind-sysadmins] Accessible MDM? I've limited success with Microsoft Intune. I think this might have improved lately though. Specifically, I had problems with the user list. I could activate specific items and it wasn't reading like a table as other Office365 UI objects of similar types would. Try Zenprise. I think it's from Citrix. I used that about three years ago and found it quite usable.
