Hi, Without meaning to belittle what Isaac's done here, the majority of you would manage perfectly fine with Bryans version that I posted a couple of days ago. No messing around with Dropbox links, no having to PayPal $'s to pay for hosting & Andre Louis is taking care of the bandwidth so it should be pretty quick. because send space like dropbox has the same issue, that's why when this whole thing started, I was hesitent to even do it, because of the bandwidth beeing used up, and my god, if someone is willing to put there time in to creating the damm thing, then either some one can either download it and host it, or donate a dollar or two, to have the band width to make it work. Everybody these days wants something for nothing, and I know lots of us have finantial diffaculties, but those that can share in getting something done should, so we can help others that can't. Isaac, John Heim offered early on to host it for u on his site, which is devoted to blind information technologists. I can host it for u too, but I really think it'd be more appropriate on John's site. Do u have some objection to taking him up on his offer? He's offering u to either put it up himself or a username on his site where u can upload it. Sendspace & dropbox are poor alternatives for this sort of file, simply because of its size. Seriously--almost every client out there supports sftp--WinSCP, FileZilla, CuteFTP, etc. There's no excuse for not using sftp--none. I certainly won't permit anything else on my server. this one natively supports windows 7 64 installs with out modifying the windows 7 installer, that's why I didn't include it on the disk. Once I get our site (http://accesscop.org) back up, let me have those and I'll host both gladly for free since we're a tech site anyway, and making accessibility projects more widely available in more places is part of the AccessCop mission. But site issues aside, I've thought of something, and I'm wondering if Isaac or someone else on here more knowledgeable with WinBuilder could perhaps walk me through it? I've had the idea to create a Windows PE diagnostic disk , sort of like an accessible Ultimate boot CD for Win. You know? Is that possible using Isaac's and Brian's projects as a base, perhaps? And then, one more. I'd like to figure out how to make Image For windows portable recovery environment accessible, for it works in any PE shell, so is there a base that includes NVDA inside WinPE from which one can do that? Lots of blindies love IFW, and they don't care which PE their shell runs from. Actually, I did forget something else. I've been interested lately in creating custom images for windows, you know, doing audit mode and then capturing the image in winPE and all that via Dism. Hi, If you write Bryan or Isaac's ISO to some writable storage you can just add in the applications that you want. I can't give a detailed description of the purposes of the different directories off the top of my head, but they're pretty obvious. I'm not worried about that. I'm concerned about using windows PE for its other functions than installing windows like diagnostics and what not. But what about the version of PE used? Hi! I am new to the world of Windows pe and especialy to use all the software on the disk. Can i find some documentation somewhere. I am interested in a similar concept, namely making bootable media probably on a usb stick, that we could then use to access SCCM task sequences.

I imagine if a bootable WinPE environment runs with speech that we could then call the sccm files that are needed. However, I don't yet have much first hand experience with WinPE. Best, Mika

More than that, www.iavit.org exists exactly for this purpose. People asked why I bothered to create this 503c non-profit corporation. It was so we could build an infrastructure to support this kind of effort. We got a web hosting service to donate a virtual machine and set up a web server. I created an account on www.iavit.org for us to use as a download site for win7pe images. Right now, the iavit site does not allow ftp access. I can install that if we need it. But it already allows sftp, which of course, is more secure. Send me a private email if you'd like the login credentials.
