Hi, hear's a link to the iso, for dvd use, and the usb stick download will be up in just a few minutes as well, if you can donate a $1 to bigikemusic@gmail.com since I purchased hosting to upload it, because dropbox didn't like so much traffic, but if you can't donate, hope it helps you anyway. hear's the link to the iso version http://www.drivehq.com/file/df.aspx/shareID11550803/fileID1780741131/disk.is...
Hi Isacc, Thanks but when I tried to download the file I got, "The file owner's account has a problem. Please contact the file owner (i.e. the person who shared or published the file) to download the file. If you are a paid member and if it is urgent for you to download the file, you can also contact DriveHQ customer support and provide the detailed information about the problem. Hi, Without meaning to belittle what Isaac's done here, the majority of you would manage perfectly fine with Bryans version that I posted a couple of days ago. No messing around with Dropbox links, no having to PayPal $'s to pay for hosting & Andre Louis is taking care of the bandwidth so it should be pretty quick. Again, I'm not trying to put anyone down but Bryans version is perfectly usable. Obviously choice is always good though. Cheers, Ben On 3/7/14, Barry Toner <Barry.Toner@clanmil.org.uk> wrote:

I'm sorry I ignored this thread early on. I'm not a Windows user. But it's exactly for this kind of thing that we created www.iavit.org. I can create some space for this stuff there. I would like everyone to think of www.iavit.org as belonging to them. If you need resources, just ask. We'll see if we can provide them. IAVIT exists to help with this kind of problem. That's why we built this infrastructure. On 03/07/14 06:59, Ben Mustill-Rose wrote:

because send space like dropbox has the same issue, that's why when this whole thing started, I was hesitent to even do it, because of the bandwidth beeing used up, and my god, if someone is willing to put there time in to creating the damm thing, then either some one can either download it and host it, or donate a dollar or two, to have the band width to make it work. I mean, my god, I wrote the code for this project, packed the zip and iso, and took time from my schedule as a music producer, and voice-over artist, to upload, to dropbox where the bandwidth ran out, and then used this sight, and spent $20 of my own money, so in two places someone should have downloaded it, and re-uploaded it for others or paypaled a few bucks, come on folks ----- Original Message ----- From: "Chris Smart" <csmart8@cogeco.ca> To: "Blind sysadmins list" <blind-sysadmins@lists.hodgsonfamily.org> Sent: Friday, March 7, 2014 7:07 AM Subject: Re: [Blind-sysadmins] win7pe 64

Isaac, John Heim offered early on to host it for u on his site, which is devoted to blind information technologists. I can host it for u too, but I really think it'd be more appropriate on John's site. Do u have some objection to taking him up on his offer? He's offering u to either put it up himself or a username on his site where u can upload it. Sendspace & dropbox are poor alternatives for this sort of file, simply because of its size. Hi Isaac, What is the difference between this one and the one made by Bryan Smart? Is it just the synthesizer or what else is new? Many thanks, Christian

Hi,
Someone on here has downloaded Isacc's Dropbox link at least, because it kicked off after too much traffic. Can they please upload the files somewhere?
Thanks, Barry.

But Isaac, the problem is that we can't download the image in order to mirror it.
If you can do sftp, I can send you credentials to upload it to www.iavit.org. If you need ftp, i'll have to install an ftp server.

Once I get our site (http://accesscop.org) back up, let me have those and I'll host both gladly for free since we're a tech site anyway, and making accessibility projects more widely available in more places is part of the AccessCop mission. But site issues aside, I've thought of something, and I'm wondering if Isaac or someone else on here more knowledgeable with WinBuilder could perhaps walk me through it? I've had the idea to create a Windows PE diagnostic disk , sort of like an accessible Ultimate boot CD for Win. You know? Is that possible using Isaac's and Brian's projects as a base, perhaps? And then, one more. I'd like to figure out how to make Image For windows portable recovery environment accessible, for it works in any PE shell, so is there a base that includes NVDA inside WinPE from which one can do that? Lots of blindies love IFW, and they don't care which PE their shell runs from. Actually, I did forget something else. I've been interested lately in creating custom images for windows, you know, doing audit mode and then capturing the image in winPE and all that via Dism. Hi, I am interested in a similar concept, namely making bootable media probably on a usb stick, that we could then use to access SCCM task sequences. Hi, If you write Bryan or Isaac's ISO to some writable storage you can just add in the applications that you want. I can't give a detailed description of the purposes of the different directories off the top of my head, but they're pretty obvious. If you're worried about wasting media just run it in a VM until you've got it sorted. Cheers, Ben. On 3/13/14, Katherine Moss <Katherine.Moss@gordon.edu> wrote:

Hi,
I am interested in a similar concept, namely making bootable media probably on a usb stick, that we could then use to access SCCM task sequences.
I imagine if a bootable WinPE environment runs with speech that we could then call the sccm files that are needed. However, I don't yet have much first hand experience with WinPE. Best, Mika

Best, Mika

That PE base that is accessible perhaps includes PowerShell so that Dism is usable inside it?

Hi Isacc,
Thanks but when I tried to download the file I got,
"The file owner's account has a problem. Please contact the file owner (i.e. the person who shared or published the file) to download the file.
If you are a paid member and if it is urgent for you to download the file, you can also contact DriveHQ customer support and provide the detailed information about the problem. We might be able to offer special help in this case."

Hi, hear's a link to the iso, for dvd use, and the usb stick download will be up in just a few minutes as well, if you can donate a $1 to bigikemusic@gmail.com since I purchased hosting to upload it, because dropbox didn't like so much traffic, but if you can't donate, hope it helps you anyway. hear's the link to the iso version http://www.drivehq.com/file/df.aspx/shareID11550803/fileID17807411 3 1/d isk.iso _______________________________________________ Blind-sysadmins mailing list Blind-sysadmins@lists.hodgsonfamily.org http://lists.hodgsonfamily.org/listinfo/blind-sysadmins

Your best place for documentation on WindowsPE itself is Microsoft's own documentation which comes with the Windows Automated Installation Kit (For Windows Vista and Windows 7), or with the Assessment and deployment kit (for Windows 8 and above, though it can deploy down-level operating systems). -----Original Message----- From: Blind-sysadmins [mailto:blind-sysadmins-bounces@lists.hodgsonfamily.org] On Behalf Of René H. Hi,
I am interested in a similar concept, namely making bootable media probably on a usb stick, that we could then use to access SCCM task sequences.
I imagine if a bootable WinPE environment runs with speech that we could then call the sccm files that are needed. However, I don't yet have much first hand experience with WinPE. Best, Mika

That PE base that is accessible perhaps includes PowerShell so that Dism is usable inside it?

More than that, www.iavit.org exists exactly for this purpose. People asked why I bothered to create this 503c non-profit corporation. It was so we could build an infrastructure to support this kind of effort. We got a web hosting service to donate a virtual machine and set up a web server. If the people who built the images are willing, we'll get it done. On 03/07/14 07:07, Chris Smart wrote:

I created an account on www.iavit.org for us to use as a download site for win7pe images. Right now, the iavit site does not allow ftp access. I can install that if we need it. But it already allows sftp, which of course, is more secure. Send me a private email if you'd like the login credentials.

I'm getting an error. Are you sure that URL is correct? If someone managed to get the files and can post them somewhere, i'll gladly put them on my Senspace Pro account as a secondary option for folks. In future, can we find a reliable way to transfer this stuff? Sendspace Pro is something like $6 a month and definitely worth it if you transfer large amounts of stuff regularly. Hi, I'd also happily host them on my Sendspace pro account to share the load.
