You state here that she isn't phased by technical issues, yet you state that she is not confident in making changes to her own computer. Depending on what you are trying to get her to access, it there nothing else you can put in place which means having a VPN is not necessary? Hi, I have never heard of anything like this before and I have stayed at someone's house in South Africa and they had a very specific router setup with Cisco gear. The router isn't likely to have a VPN client built-in especially if an ISP provider router. You could always set up SharePoint remote access via WAP/ADFS, and also look at something like Direct Access, which is a fabulous piece of kit, though not widely used in corporate environments. Hi, Yes that is very possible. Think of Direct Access as a client side service to allow Windows clients to be able to access the network from outside, but you need site to site VPNs to connect the network together especially if you have AD servers across it. Andrew. Sent from my iPhone
