linksys router and no-ip?
Hello, This is for a friend. They've got a linksys router model wrt54g. They're wanting to use no-ip.com for their ddns, and were wondering if that router supported it? Thanks. Dave.
Hi Dave, All they need to do is to log into the router, with 192.168.1.1, and check if there is a DDNS link on the home page. If there is, it supports it. Not without a custom firmware. You'd probably have etter luck using Google to find info on this--search for Linksys wrt54g no-ip.com ddns or something like that--this seems to be outside the scope of this list. On Fri, September 25, 2009 10:45, Dave wrote:

I'm not positive on this. I know for certain ddns.org works but not positive on no-ip. Is ddns.org an option? ----- Original Message ----- From: "Dave" <dave.mehler@gmail.com> To: "'Blind sysadmins list'" <blind-sysadmins@lists.hodgsonfamily.org> Sent: Friday, September 25, 2009 12:35 AM Subject: [Blind-sysadmins] linksys router and no-ip?
