Hi all, I keep getting this message, "This AiCloud account has been locked. “ Wired and wireless connections are working fine, I just can’t even get to the authentication page and need to admin this router. Initial online searches seem to suggest something about WAN http Vs https connections. Trying either or with the Gateway address, and several Asus aliases aren’t loading the admin page. Any suggestions? Resetting the router and setting it back up is very much a last resort…. Cheers, Barry.
Hi, Where do you get the message, phone, tablet, desktop? I have Asus routers and I don’t use their AI cloud services. They seem to be tad bit flaky. Are you able to connect to router via Asus Router app on your phone? Asus router app is pretty helpful and with latest updates, it became even more accessible on IOS. -----Original Message----- From: Barry Toner <barry@tonermail.co.uk> Sent: Monday, January 13, 2020 12:25 AM To: Blind sysadmins list <blind-sysadmins@lists.hodgsonfamily.org> Subject: [Blind-sysadmins] Unable to access a Asus router web ui Hi all, I keep getting this message, "This AiCloud account has been locked. “ Wired and wireless connections are working fine, I just can’t even get to the authentication page and need to admin this router. Hi, Thanks for the suggestion on the IOS app. I’ve got that now and it’s showing the router and it’s settings. I’ve been getting page can’t be found, and AI Cloud stuff on OSX and Windows, with several browsers. Cheers again, hopefully I can poke around in the App and get back into the admin page through the web ui on a browser. Barry.

Looks like I spoke to soon. Upon re-downloading the Asus app it appears that it was using a cached log-in. Any operations I performed kept saying connection failed. So I managed to unlink the iPhone from the router in the IOS App, and am trying to log back in as it did find the Asus router, but it keeps saying connection failed. I’ve enabled the Advanced log-in settings and tried both http and https to no avail. Barry

Maybe try to login with this port number: https://(router IP)8443 If everything else fails, just hit that reset button. I don’t think it will take that much of your time to reconfigure that home router. It’s not like commercial firewall with ton of VPNs and different configurations. -----Original Message----- From: Barry Toner <barry@tonermail.co.uk> Sent: Tuesday, January 14, 2020 4:37 AM To: Blind sysadmins list <blind-sysadmins@lists.hodgsonfamily.org> Subject: [Blind-sysadmins] Re: Unable to access a Asus router web ui Looks like I spoke to soon.
