Which text editor do yu recommend?
Hello, I'm writing and editing some PHP codes and translating some files to an other language by using Notepad++ to open files; however sometimes Jaws does not read lines in Notepad++ correctly. It is jumping lines and not reading acuratly. Do you have any recommendation for accessible and UTF-8 compatible text editör? I heard some accessible text editors in the past but can't remember now it's names. Don't want to use Windows Notepad Smile. Thanks for your answers from now, regards.

Take a look at this github repository which has installers for version 4.0 and older version 3.3. It does not have source code. https://github.com/jamalmazrui/EdSharp Chris On Mon, Apr 03, 2017 at 07:22:24PM +0300, Can K??rca wrote:

I use Emacs, even on a Windows machine. In the Windows case, it's installed via MSYSv2. I'm also interested in the Windows Subsystem for Linux, but I haven't tried it yet. Of course, under Linux, it's both Emacs and Vim. (I like both of them.) Under Mac OS, I haven't had much success with UNIX editors, as the accessibility of the terminal environment isn't what it ought to be, and I need good braille display support too. Textmate is the best that I've found so far for the Mac. All of the above should handle UTF-8. I know Emacs and Vim do.
Hello, I will use this editör for formatting html pages, creating some small script files and so on. Notepad++ is really awsome; but jaws jump some lines while working. Looking for other recommendations. Thank you. 2017-04-03 0:43 GMT+03:00, Jason White via Blind-sysadmins <blind-sysadmins@lists.hodgsonfamily.org>:

Hi Can, Notepad++ works pretty well on NVDA. You maybe try that? You canm use multiple screenreaders on one pc. You just need to look that both don't run at the same time. Hey Simon, Interesting; but yes, NVDA working well. I really don't know what is the problem that makes Jaws unstable? If I find the problem, maybe I I can create a set of scripts for notepad++ Thanks. 2017-04-03 10:07 GMT+03:00, Eigeldinger Simon <simon.eigeldinger@hohenems.at>:
