Hi. Trying to import tables from a access 2010 database. And got sql server 2014 developer 64 bit for windows 7 64 bit pro. Now. I have the access add on pack. But it says when I try to login does not like the user name, but able to login and my user name is : MARVIN-PC\SQLEXPRESS And when I try to import a text file odbc driver, says it is not configured. Do I need to uinstall and reinstall. This is driving me nuts. Marvin. Ps: and I have a sql database with tables already.
Marvin, Sorry but I'm going to suspend your membership of this list for the following reasons: - Repeated questions even though you have been given the answer more than once, and you have not followed the advice given. When you got this working before, you obviously didn't note down what you did to reproduce it. - Crossposting to several other lists. I feel this list is not really suitable to you as it is discussing sysadmins from a blindness perspective and not database development. You can continue to post to the BCAB list. For your information what you gave us wasn't the username of the SQL connection, but the database instance. That is a SQL Express database not a developer edition, so not sure at all what you are even going through. You need to write steps consistently and ensure others can follow the steps you took. Sorry to do this but I need to keep signal to noise ratio down on the list. I wish you all best wishes in your studies.
