Hello, I've installed the Windows 10 fall creators update plus the stable version of jaws 2018. When I go into the terminal to work with bash or power shell jaws just says text area, and doesn't read the output automatically. When I up arrow it says C:\users\username, and nothing else. I'm wondering if there are any specific settings that you need to configure in the terminal properties to make the screen reader work optimally. Any help would be appreciated. This is a Jaws bug I think. It has been reported to VFO. I hope they fix it soon. -----Original Message----- From: Blind-sysadmins [mailto:blind-sysadmins-bounces@lists.hodgsonfamily.org] On Behalf Of David Thomas Sent: Thursday 26 October 2017 03:19 To: Blind SysAdmins (blind-sysadmins@lists.hodgsonfamily.org) <blind-sysadmins@lists.hodgsonfamily.org> Subject: [Blind-sysadmins] terminal in Windows 10 Hello, I've installed the Windows 10 fall creators update plus the stable version of jaws 2018.
