Hi, I have a few users who all connect to one mailbox running exchange2010 when they use cashing mode they are not always getting e-mails and they can't see what others are adding to the sub folders. If they turn it off they can see everything. The pro to them using cashing mode is that they have better performance on their main e-mail accounts. Is there a way to get everything to show up when cashing mode is on?
Hi, That's kind of the point of cached Exchange mode really, and is expected behaviour. I had it a lot at my last place. If there is a shared mailbox, see if you could change it to an email ticketing system which may work better. Hi, Emails coming in from the public is a perfect example of where a ticketing system would be useful. A second profile would work but would anoy the hell out of the users. I suppose it depends on how often the issues occur and whether you end up with many conflicts. This is a Linux product but RT from best practical software is open source and highly customizable. http://bestpractical.com I have used successfully ti integrate ticketing across multiple database infrastructures, OS environments, and user requirements. The learning curve is a bit steep for the admin, but the rewards are certainly worth it. kp On Tue, 17 Nov 2015, mike wrote:

Hi, Someone has mentioned RT already and while it is a fab product it really takes a lot of configuring and I find that users don't like it if they aren't technical as it gives them too many options. I have had experience with implementing Cerberus before, which is more of a customer centric call handling system <www.cerberusweb.com>, and Site Helpdesk <www.sitehelpdesk.com>. These are not free but quite cheap solutions. SiteHelpdesk is a Windows solution as it uses Classic ASP. RT is fully customizable and the level of option is set by the admin so I suspect that it simply was not set up well because you can have as many were a few options as you desire Like I said it does take a lot of admin work but the end product is well worth it Sent from my iPhone

I have no idea why a Windows product would still be using Classic ASP. Seriously? Et out of the 90's and into the .net era! Just had to say that ...
